Back in Action!!

Sort of.. Off from my other jobs today and I spend 95% of it recharging my batteries in bed.  The most creative part of my day were the dreams that visited me.  I did manage to post a few new things on Deviant Art & reactivate my Etsy Store.  There is plenty of 'behind the scenes' things to do after the recent Strawberry Festival and everything that was recently made for it.  I've also been asked to make 'farewell presents' for my mother's co-workers as she will be retiring at the end of the month.  Hopefully I will be able to finish them quickly.. however they are going to be individually designed large wooden boxes, which tend to take me around a month to make.  These will be partly decoupaged with pictures and requests supplied by the person they are intended for.  I am looking forward to making these for them!  Just not the time frame I am going to push myself to meet them in.  HA!

Strawberry Festival 2012

Yesterday and today was the Strawberry Festival.  This was the 4th or 5th time I vended there, and it was by far the worst year.  Previously each year was better and better.. this year the two rooms of 'crafters' could have filled a single room.  More than half the crafters were not crafters.. but venders of various products.. The Pampered Chef, Coming Home, Tastefully Simple.. someone with a slimming wrap.. someone selling gutter protection.  I had more things to share than ever before and I cant help but feel like the kid left behind after soccer practice.. the one no one remembers to pick up.

I hope to be more active here.  (Thank you Jen for the ideas & encouragement!!) I also hope to connect my Blog, Gallery, Facebook & Etsy pages together.

I need a new secretary.. it seems my previous one has shut me out.  Saddness.
